Who We Are

Welcome to the Akifa Foundation, a beacon of hope founded to honor the enduring legacy of Akifa Bibi. Born from the profound influence and cherished memories of Akifa, our foundation is deeply rooted in the heart of Baffa, Pakistan, where she spent her inspiring life.

 

Akifa Foundation is a UK Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO, charity no. 1212059) based in St Albans. We support disadvantaged children and families in England and Pakistan through education, poverty relief, clean water and community wellbeing projects.

  • Helping children stay in education through grants, school fees, uniforms and learning materials.​
  • Supporting families in hardship with food support, shelters, financial aid and disaster relief.​
  • Providing access to clean water through wells and boreholes and promoting a cleaner, greener environment

Our Mission

Our mission is to give children and families living in difficult conditions the chance to live with dignity, hope and opportunity. By focusing on education, poverty relief, clean water and environmental improvement, we help communities in England and Pakistan build a safer, healthier future.
